2020 has been challenging for everyone, it’s also been the perfect time to get outside and explore. Epic has been having fun Glamping around the Western Maryland area and we wanted to share a couple of our favorite locations to help you #Get your Glamp on!

Plenty of activities here including; a golf resort (featuring Maryland’s only Nicklaus DesignGolf course ), spa, restaurants, casino and a general store onsite. For the ultimate in Glamping self-care, be sure to check out the warm stone massage at their Spa before heading out for a night of roulette. There are state and private campsites in this area and they range from full service with electricity and bath houses to rustic, many of the parks sites have a lakeview. This location is best suited for those that want lots of activities and a busier feel, overall. If you are looking for some windy, cycling roads with scenic views, be sure to check out MV Smith 440. On our way back East in Little Orleans, we stopped into Oak Barrel Cafe and were pleasantly surprised to have stumbled on a gas station/eatery that gets five stars on Yelp (what?). Since good food makes glamping even better, be sure to try their Brick oven pizzas, wings, custom omelets, locally distilled moonshines and bourbons, Oak Barrel also has lots of homemade desserts and even has an ice cream parlor in the back.
